I appreciate having a weird, random, silly slapstick comedy in 2025. Some of the jokes did get a genuine chuckle out of me.
That said, it never quite rises to the level of a laugh-out-loud riot, and it doesn’t fully capture the magic of the original.
Still, it’s worth a watch, if only for the sheer ridiculousness of seeing a bunch of kids get beat up.
