  Who knew that a series in 2016 about a group of very larger-than-life characters dealing with weird things in their town would be the start of such a phenomenal show? It has been three years since the jarring cliffhanger of Stranger Things Season 4, and the show is now coming to an end with its final season. Will it stick the landing, or will it unfortunately become another Game of Thrones situation? In terms of what this season does well, I enjoyed that Will actually has a lot more to do. Despite being a very important character in Seasons 1 and 2, he sort of had little to nothing to do in Seasons 3 and 4. He also has a proper bonding moment with Robin that I genuinely enjoyed and found very heartwarming. Jonathan was a character butchered in Season 4 by turning him into a lame pothead.   Stranger things returns after a long 3-year wait. While I enjoyed Stranger Things season 3, it leaned way too much on the cheesiness and comedy than the tense drama and horror. Stranger things season 4 feels like a return back to form and it is wonderful. This season also contains one of the best antagonists of the series so far in Vecna. He is genuinely a proper threat to the cast and for the first time properly, it is hard to say if the cast will make it out alive. There is also a new character who sort of joins the crew and that is Eddie Munson (Joseph Quinn). He is a great addition and has meshed well with the younger and older crews of Hawkins.  The story continues to be extremely engaging. We have the cast at Hawkins dealing with gruesome murders, we have Hopper trying to escape Russia while Joyce and Murray try to save him, we discover more about Eleven’s past and her training arc, and Max becomes a bigger focus with her dealing with the aftermath of he...

  Stranger Things Season 1 An amazing idea for a TV show that is filled with great characters, exciting stories and scary monsters. A phenomenal first season! Also kid actors that aren’t terrible? What a surprise! Stranger Things Season 2 A sequel that delivers! It continues to expand on the universe and still deliver great stories and some great monsters. Stranger Things Season 3 While the first two seasons balanced the serious nature, the scares and the comedy. This season leans WAY too much on the comedy. Some characters act way too differently than they were in the first two. The story uses a lot of clichés and is quite predictable. The first half is also incredibly slow in pacing. It is still a fun season though and the monster stuff when it is the focus is great. The Russian stuff is over the top Russian stuff unfortunately.
